Karin Schönpflug

Karin Schönpflug is a Vienna-based economist, who researches and teaches in the field of feminist and queer economics and socio-economic inequalities. She works as a research assistant at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna and as a lecturer in Public Management at the FH Campus-Wien. Karin Schönpflug has taught economics, gender and transdisciplinary studies at universities in Austria, the USA and New Zealand. Her research focuses on the socio-economic exclusion of queer and marginalised people and she combines feminist economics with utopian approaches.
