The think-tank Naprzód (Forward) was founded in April 2016 with the aim of creating dialogue and debate between different sections of the Polish left, (both political activists and intellectuals) with those from the European left. We agree broadly with the political aims and programme of the Party of the European Left, and seek cooperation between different parts of the Polish and European left. We believe in promoting the principles of socialism and democracy, and combating neo-liberalism, militarisation, racism, patriarchy and homophobia.
Naprzód aims to create a strong and long-lasting left-wing think-tank in Poland, to the left of mainstream social democracy, that contributes to the development of the left in Poland.
