Cultures of Labour and Socialism, or CUL:TRA, is a cultural cooperative whose main goal is to promote research, training and publications in the fields of history, political science, economy, sociology and cultural issues related to the working classes. It focuses on the the state of society in Portugal and beyond, and, in collaboration with similar organizations in other countries, produces analyses of the new reality.
Its constituency is made up of social-movement activists, trade-unions, political and youth organizations, and all those who wish to improve their knowledge and capacity to intervene in a perspective of emancipation, sustainable development, democracy, social justice and peace.
