Following the work undertaken by the transform! Akademia Working Group on Science and Democracy, a one-day workshop will be held in Paris.
It aims at gathering researchers and unionists from the higher education sector in order to discuss the state of the European university system, its risks and failures, together with a collective reflection on progressive alternative proposals for another research policy and a new conception of the cooperation of universities on the EU level – bearing in mind how it could nurture the project of a different EU, privileging cooperation over competition.
