World leaders and experts will meet in Glasgow in November at the global climate talks, COP26. The decisions made at COP26 (26th Conference of the Parties) will shape how governments respond to the climate crisis. This takes places at a crucial moment in history: The point of no return is getting closer – the foundations for a just world where everyone’s needs are met have to be laid now. Therefore, the COP26 Coalition, a UK-based civil society coalition of groups and individuals mobilising around climate justice during COP26, calls for a worldwide action day.
