The La Boétie Institute prefigures what France Insoumise’s future foundation will be like: both a place for cross-fertilisation of ideas and a tool for grassroots citizen education. Building on the contributions of researchers, practitioners, and activists, the La Boétie Institute intends to shed light on major contemporary political issues and fuel public debate.
More broadly, it aims to nurture and perpetuate the intellectual traditions of emancipatory humanism, republicanism, socialism, and «political ecology».
