To understand the importance of the role of common goods in the productive system, we need to consider the transformation of the economic system as a whole.
The production system is increasingly conditioned by the command that finance has taken on a global level. This has produced, among other things, two main acts: the progressive loss of the role of states in economic and industrial planning and the reduction of democratic control over the world of labour and therefore an attack on working conditions and wages. Only by introducing the question of common goods, thus linking the question of social justice in the production to the struggles for common goods is it possible to redefine a strategy of economic and social alternative.
It is not possible to build a force capable of countering financial capitalism without unifying all the struggles and all the subjects fighting for their future.
Our interest is therefore to investigate the different experiences and struggles for common goods as well as to develop a political strategy suitable of facing the challenges of the transformation of societies.
